Dr Patrick Lan

Dr Lan studied at UNSW and completed his MBBS in 2003. He did his physicians training at St Vincent’s in Sydney, and his renal training at RPA and Concord Hospitals. 

In 2012, he became the Dialysis Fellow at RPA, and also completed his FRACP membership in 2012.

Dr Lan has completed a PhD with the University of Sydney that focused on applying newer blood pressure management techniques into pregnancy-related hypertension. He has published a number of articles in both renal and obstetric medicine journals, and has presented at national and international conferences in both renal and obstetric medicine.

Dr Lan has a keen interest in hypertension, pregnancy-related hypertension, chronic kidney disease and dialysis. He is a consultant nephrologist at RPA and the Mater, and a general medicine physician at Canterbury Hospital. He is also the Director of Physician Education at Canterbury Hospital.
